Veteran Phuket journalist Yongyos Pruksarak, known as “Ko Ha”, has died, according to The Phuket Express.
Pruksarak founded the Phuket Post newspaper and its online platform. The report described him as a senior reporter who spent decades covering Phuket and serving as a link between residents and authorities.
Colleagues and readers remembered Pruksarak for reporting they regarded as sincere and fair, as well as for his commitment to the local community, the report said.
Condolences were expressed to his family, loved ones and co-workers.
