A 31-year-old woman from Phuket was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel room in Nakhon Si Thammarat late Wednesday night, police said. Authorities identified the deceased as Ms. Kimyong Chaisanasin, a resident of Rassada Subdistrict, who was discovered around 9:00 p.m. in Room 9 of a hotel in Mueang District.
Timeline and Investigation Details
Hotel staff reported that Ms. Chaisanasin checked into the room at approximately 11:50 a.m. with an unidentified man. The man later checked out alone, which prompted employees to inspect the room.
Police said Ms. Chaisanasin was found lying on her back on the bed, wearing a pink T-shirt and long jeans. Investigators noted possible evidence that her clothing had been changed after death, raising concerns about the circumstances.
Forensic teams are currently examining evidence collected from the scene. Officers are working to identify and locate the man who was last seen with the victim.
