A 17-year-old was seriously injured after being shot near Patong beach in Phuket on 22 August 2026, according to a report by Kom Chad Luek.
The shooting took place on the footpath along Phra Barami Road, opposite Novotel Phuket Resort in Patong, Kathu district. A 15-year-old witness told investigators that he and around 10 others had been gathered near the beach when approximately 20 people arrived on motorcycles.
