BDMS and Sri Panwa launch wellness retreat in Phuket
The four- or seven-day programme combines medical assessments, preventive care, accommodation and personalised wellness activities.
BDMS Wellness Clinic and Sri Panwa Phuket have launched a wellness retreat combining medical assessments and preventive healthcare with accommodation, nutrition, rehabilitation and mindfulness activities.
The BDMS Wellness Clinic x Sri Panwa The Holistic Wellness Retreat was unveiled on 4 September during a “Longevity Conversation by the Sea” event at YAYA Sri Panwa. Guests can choose between a four-day, three-night programme and a seven-day, six-night programme.
The retreat begins with a health assessment and consultation with a preventive medicine specialist. Guests then receive a personalised health report and recommendations intended to remain useful after their stay. The programme covers nutrition, movement, rehabilitation and appropriate supplementation, as well as stress, sleep and hormonal health.
It also includes spa and thermal treatments, mindfulness sessions, active wellness activities and personalised meals at Sri Panwa.
Dr Kiattipoom Saithai, a preventive medicine specialist at BDMS Wellness Clinic, said the programme was based on understanding each guest’s health through medical data alongside their lifestyle and personal goals.
Songkran Issara, chief executive of Charn Issara Development, said travellers were increasingly seeking holidays that could support their health and quality of life rather than simply offering a change of scenery.
BDMS Wellness Clinic and Sri Panwa have also been working together on wellness services, including specialised clinics at the resort that opened in 2025.
The launch comes as Phuket develops its position in international wellness tourism ahead of the Global Wellness Summit 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Phuket from 10 to 13 November. The partners also plan to offer a Scientific Wellness Retreat for summit delegates, focused on medical assessments, consultations and personalised health planning.
BDMS, citing figures from the Global Wellness Institute, said Thailand’s wellness economy grew by 10.1% in 2024. Thailand ranked 15th globally in wellness tourism and had the third-highest growth rate at 36.4%, behind India and the United Arab Emirates.
