Complaint filed over alleged use of donations for Phuket pool villa
A woman has filed a complaint against the Foundation for Doing Good and people involved in its operations, alleging donated funds were used to build a pool villa in Phuket.
Boonyanuch Saengsri, known as “Oi Sri”, filed a complaint on 30 October 2026 against the Foundation for Doing Good and people involved in its operations, alleging that donated funds were used to build a pool villa in Phuket rather than for public benefit.
Boonyanuch, who was accompanied by a lawyer at the Crime Suppression Division in Bangkok, said the complaint involved Panadda Wongphudee, known as “Bum”, and others involved in managing the foundation. She said she was acting as a complainant after donating B1,000 to the foundation on 3 December 2025 to help flood victims.
According to Boonyanuch, she initially believed the money had been sent to a foundation account but later noticed that the account was in an individual’s name. She said she then found transfer slips showing payments to people who were not connected with the foundation.
She also said withdrawals exceeding B500,000 required an agenda item and a resolution from the foundation’s board. Boonyanuch rejected suggestions that the complaint stemmed from a personal dispute and said Panadda should provide evidence if she maintains that documents had been forged.
