Family appeals for help locating missing South African tourist in Phuket

A South African family has appealed for help locating Michael, who they say went missing while staying in Phuket.
His sister, Michal Gaziel, posted an online appeal on 29 July asking residents to notify the foreign police and send location details to the family rather than approaching him directly.
Gaziel said her brother had a history of drug problems and was experiencing severe mental health challenges and paranoia. She also said he had dedicated his life to advocating for children's rights and world peace before his disappearance.
