Foreign tourists reportedly fight after drinking in Patong’s Bangla area

A video reportedly shows foreign tourists fighting in Soi Bangla, Patong, Phuket, at about 2am on 22 July 2026 after drinking together.

The video was published by the Phuket Times Facebook page with a caption describing the incident as a fight at “Bangla Stadium”. Kom Chad Luek reported that the tourists argued and exchanged punches in the nightlife area in Patong, Kathu district, after drinking and becoming intoxicated.

The footage was widely shared online, prompting comments that jokingly referred to the area as “Bangla Stadium” and compared the confrontation with a street-fighting arena.
