Residents in Kamala, Phuket, waded through knee-deep floodwater and cast nets on a flooded road after heavy rain fell throughout the night, according to a report by Khaosod.

A video posted on Facebook by a user identified as “Greenwood sk” showed the flooding on a road near Phuket FantaSea in Kamala, Kathu district, on 26 October 2026. The water covered a long stretch of the road, while residents walked through it with cast nets.

The group also caught fish and took them home, turning the flooded road into what appeared to be a temporary fishing area. The footage drew amused comments online as flooding affected daily life in several parts of Phuket.
