Four arrested in Phuket online gambling investigation

Police arrested four alleged administrators of an illegal online gambling website after raiding a residence in Ratsada, Phuket, on 8 September 2026.

Investigation Division 2 of Region 8 Police said the suspects worked as customer service representatives, or “admins”, for the gambling website. Officers seized more than 40 items of evidence, including four computers, 20 mobile phones, electronic cards and numerous bank account books.

Police said the material included information about the website’s operation and financial transactions. Preliminary findings indicated turnover in the tens of millions of baht.

The suspects and evidence were handed to investigators at Mueang Phuket Police Station for legal proceedings. Police said the investigation would continue to identify those behind the operation and trace related financial transactions.
