A motorist helped clear a route for an ambulance carrying a patient from Kathu Waterfall to PPAO Hospital in Ratsada.
A motorist escorted an ambulance through Phuket traffic from Samkong Intersection to Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation (PPAO) Hospital in Ratsada, according to the Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation.
The ambulance was carrying a patient suffering from fever and chills from the Kathu Waterfall area in Kathu. The motorist drove ahead of the ambulance to clear a path and continued the escort after the emergency vehicle passed Vachira Phuket Hospital, as it had to follow a different route to PPAO Hospital.
The escort continued all the way to the hospital. Medical staff and onlookers praised the assistance as an example of road users helping emergency vehicles reach patients without unnecessary delay.
