Phuket governor honours 24 local brands at 2026 awards
Phuket Governor Chotinarin Kerdsom presented the Phuket Rising Brand 2026 awards to local businesses recognised for their distinctiveness and success.
Phuket Governor Chotinarin Kerdsom presented the Phuket Rising Brand 2026 awards on 27 July, recognising 24 local businesses for their distinctiveness and success.
The ceremony was held at Dibuka Café & Restaurant in Mueang Phuket and attended by representatives from government agencies, the private sector, academia, the media and influencer networks.
Three businesses received the "Legendary Brand" award: Mee Ton Poe, Saeng Damrong and Amorn Phuket Pearl.
The 21 recipients of the Phuket Rising Brand 2026 award were Khun Mae Ju, The SIS Kata Resort, Cafe Delight, Katathani Phuket Beach Resort, Phuket City Development Co. (PKCD), Kin Kab Yi, Tu Kab Khao, WeCafe Salad & Coffee, Campus Coffee Roasters, Drop Espresso, Wan Fang, Amatara Welleisure Resort, Phumontra Cafe’ & Massage, Salon24 Phuket, Baba Phuket, Phuket Old Town Community, Baan Chinpracha, Phuket Art Village, Anfield Cafe’, Dibuk House and Sally.
Kerdsom said the Phuket Rising Brand project began in 2018 and is held annually to select and promote successful local businesses. He said branding was important to increasing the value of Phuket’s products and services and strengthening the competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs.
The governor said Phuket’s 20-year development plan aims to establish the province as a “New Economy” city driven by digital technology, innovation, artificial intelligence and the creative economy. The plan also places emphasis on balanced and sustainable development, including environmental management, urban administration and quality of life.
The project will hold a product and service showcase and a BrandTalk event at Limelight Phuket from 1–2 August, from 10am to 8pm. The event will include discussions with brand owners and opportunities for the public and businesses to exchange experiences and support local products and services.
