Phuket Health Expo 2026 to spotlight island’s wellness hub ambitions
Phuket Health Expo 2026 will run from July 1-5 at Central Phuket, bringing together more than 80 health, wellness, sports and tourism businesses as the province advances its plan to become a regional wellness hub.
Phuket Health Expo 2026 will be held at Central Phuket from July 1-5 under the theme “Longevity: Well-being for a Long Life”, as officials and business leaders promote the island’s long-term plan to become a health and wellness hub.
The event was officially launched at a press conference on Wednesday, June 10, attended by Phuket Vice Governor Suwit Phansengiam, Phuket Chamber of Commerce President Kongsak Khoophongsakorn, Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation Deputy Mayor Anupap Wechwanichsanong and public health pharmacy expert Somsuk Sampanprateep.
At the launch, officials set out Phuket’s vision of becoming a future health city under the concept “Phuket: The Future of Life”, with an emphasis on improving quality of life for local residents while also attracting visitors, investors and healthcare businesses from around the world.
Kongsak said the expo would link health knowledge, innovation, technology and business opportunities, while supporting Phuket’s development as a leading centre for health and wellness tourism. Organisers said the event builds on previous expos that showed Phuket’s potential as an international destination for healthcare, medical services and wellness travel.
The 2026 expo will be organised around five themes: Sport & Performance, Nutrition & Longevity, Mind & Spiritual, Medical & Biohacking, and Wellness Lifestyle. More than 80 businesses are expected to present products and services from the health, wellness, sports and tourism sectors.
Organisers said the programme will also include international business-matching sessions, familiarisation trips highlighting Phuket’s health and wellness tourism offerings, and the presentation of the Phuket Health Expo Awards 2026.
Officials said the event is intended to help create international partnerships, stimulate Phuket’s health economy and support efforts to establish the province as a regional hub for health and wellness tourism.
Vice Governor Suwit said reaching that goal would require cooperation among government agencies, the private sector, educational institutions, healthcare providers and local communities. He said the approach should focus on healthier lifestyles and sustainable urban development, rather than relying only on medical treatment.
According to organisers, the expo is expected to attract both industry professionals and members of the public interested in health, wellness and active living.
