Phuket Provincial Court has moved to a new B262 million building on Chao Fa Rd, with 14 courtrooms and services including mediation and bail applications.
Phuket Provincial Court held a Buddhist blessing ceremony on 14 October at its new courthouse on Chao Fa Rd in Phuket Town, following the relocation of court operations to the B262 million building.
Phuket Governor Chotinarin Kerdsom attended the ceremony, while Phuket Provincial Court Chief Judge Thanayut Siwayapram presided over proceedings for lay participants. The courthouse at 9/69 Chao Fa Rd, Talat Nuea, began serving the public on 1 October 2026. Construction started on 17 May 2019 and was completed on 11 May 2026.
The building occupies 6 rai, 3 ngan and 20 square wah and contains 14 courtrooms. Its facilities include mediation rooms, case-filing areas and services for applications for provisional release on bail.

The former courthouse on Damrong Rd in Talat Yai will be renovated for use as the Phuket District Court. The public has been advised to use the Chao Fa Rd building for court services from 1 October onwards.
