Police arrested an intoxicated foreign man on Thawiwong Road in Patong, Phuket, at about 11:10am on May 7 after he was found disoriented and causing a public disturbance. Authorities said the male, whose nationality was not identified, was taken into custody by a patrol team led by Pol Lt Sarawut Phutthaphoraphiban.
Charge filed after arrest on Thawiwong Road
Police said the man was charged with consuming intoxicating substances to the point of losing control and behaving disruptively in a public place.
The arrest was carried out under the direction of senior officers, including Acting Pol Col Korakrit Khanthakrue.
After the arrest, officers handed the man over to an investigating officer for further legal proceedings.
The incident was reported in the Patong area on May 7.
