A fire broke out on the roof of a building at the SC construction site on Kupo Bang Tao Road in Cherng Talay, Thalang, with firefighters extinguishing the blaze before it spread further.
Cherng Talay Police were notified at about 1:30pm after construction workers reported flames shortly before midday, according to an initial police report.
No injuries were reported. Police said the extent of the property damage was still being assessed and that the cause remained under investigation. Officers examined the scene and are coordinating with forensic police to determine how the fire started.
