Search continues for Moroccan tourist missing at Kata Beach

Rescue teams are continuing to search for a Moroccan tourist who went missing after entering the water at Kata Beach in Phuket on the evening of 14 September.

Rescue divers from the Kusoldharm Foundation have been deployed, while additional personnel and equipment have been mobilised in coordination with relevant agencies. The operation continued on 15 September from a temporary rescue command centre set up along the beach.

Local officials visited the centre to monitor the search and support the teams and volunteers involved. Officials said they hoped the tourist would be found and brought back safely.
