Widespread Storm Damage and Emergency Response
High winds from the same storm system battered Sikhoraphum, Chom Phra, Rattanaburi, and Tha Tum districts, damaging residential buildings and public property.
On Highway 226 between Ban Phama and Ban Kanchan, 20 high-voltage power poles were toppled, disrupting electricity supply in the area.
Surin governor Chamroen Waenpetch ordered district chiefs to coordinate with local authorities, community leaders, and volunteers to urgently assess damage and assist affected residents. Emergency teams are working to restore services and provide relief to those impacted by the storm.
