Suspected burglar filmed eating food and defecating inside Rawai property
CCTV reportedly captured a man forcing his way into a Rawai property, searching for valuables, eating food and leaving faeces behind.
A suspected burglar forced his way into a property in Rawai, Phuket, and was reportedly filmed eating food from the refrigerator and defecating inside before fleeing.
The incident happened at about 3.04am on 3 September 2026, according to a report published by The Thaiger. The man allegedly entered through a rear door, searched the premises and took valuables, although the report did not specify what was missing or estimate the value of the property.
CCTV images show a man wearing a cap moving around inside the property. Four still images were shared by the Phuket Times Facebook page on 15 September as a warning to people in the area and in an effort to identify him.
As of 16 September, no public report had confirmed that the suspected intruder had been identified or arrested.
