Teen musician reportedly stops fight among foreign visitors at Phuket’s Naka Market
Nene Royal reportedly told foreign visitors to stop fighting or she would end her performance at Naka Market in Phuket.
A 16-year-old Thai musician reportedly stopped a confrontation among foreign visitors while performing at Naka Market in Phuket, telling them she would end her show if they did not stop.
The incident was described in a video posted on 30 August by Sathit Pitutecha, a former deputy public health minister. The video showed Nene Royal, identified as Praew-Rattikarn Amlอย, singing and playing music at the market when members of the audience appeared to be preparing to fight, according to the report.
Sathit said Nene told them to stop and began preparing to end her performance. When a foreign audience member asked her to continue, she agreed to perform one final song.
Nene recently attracted attention after reportedly receiving a Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent 2026, sending her directly to the final round.
