Thailand Privilege says it tightened member screening with five Thai security agencies

Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. said it has reinforced its member screening process by working with five Thai government security agencies, aiming to maintain high safety standards for applicants to the residency and privileges program.

The company, which operates under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said the agencies involved are the Immigration Bureau, the Foreign Affairs Division of the Royal Thai Police, the Central Investigation Bureau, the National Intelligence Agency and the Anti-Money Laundering Office.

TPC President Manatase Annawat said the company’s goal is not only to attract foreign nationals for long-term residence in Thailand and support spending in local communities, but also to prioritize national security and public safety. He said the company has continued to strengthen its screening procedures to improve rigor and accuracy as conditions evolve.

According to the company, criminal record checks are among the most important parts of the process, with applicant personal information reviewed together with relevant government security agencies.

Thailand Privilege currently offers five membership categories with residency rights ranging from five years to more than 20 years. The tiers are Bronze, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Reserve, with fees ranging from 650,000 baht to 5 million baht. The invitation-only Reserve tier is aimed at ultra-high-net-worth individuals and is renewable every five years.

The company said membership benefits include long-term residency visas, airport services, government concierge support, a member contact center and lifestyle privileges.

TPC said it currently serves more than 40,000 members from over 50 nationalities. It said the program has generated more than 50 billion baht in annual economic impact over the past 23 years.

The company said the strengthened screening measures are intended to support confidence in Thailand as a trusted long-term destination while maintaining a high-quality membership base.
