Three Foreign Women Taken to Patong Police Station After Alleged Assault on Security Guard

Police in Patong said three foreign female tourists were taken to Patong Police Station after allegedly assaulting a security guard at a popular entertainment venue on Bangla Road.
According to Patong Police Station, officers received a report about the incident at about 10:50 p.m. on June 5. A special patrol unit was sent to the venue following what police described as a late-night disturbance.
Police said the confrontation began after the group of women was asked to undergo a routine check. CCTV footage later verified that the three women physically attacked members of the venue’s security staff, according to police.
Authorities said the security guard did not retaliate during the incident. Officers then intervened and escorted the three tourists to Patong Police Station for legal proceedings.
Local police said the incident took place at a popular nightlife venue on Bangla Road, one of Patong’s main entertainment areas.
