Two tourists rescued from difficulty at Patong Beach
Lifeguards used a surfboard and a jet ski to bring two tourists safely back to shore at Patong Beach at about 5:40pm.
Two tourists were rescued without injury after getting into difficulty in the water at Patong Beach at about 5:40pm, according to a report by The Phuket News.
One lifeguard reached the tourists on a surfboard, while another approached by jet ski and helped bring them safely ashore.
Lifeguards urged swimmers to take care in rough sea conditions or strong currents, follow warning flags and swim only in designated areas.
