British tourist arrested after barefoot rampage in Phuket

A British tourist was arrested in Phuket after a public disturbance in which he allegedly challenged passers-by to fights, entered a convenience store, climbed over fences and blocked traffic on a busy street.

The shirtless, barefoot man was cornered by responding police officers during the incident in Phuket, Thailand. According to the source, he shouted phrases including "I love you" as officers moved in.

Police used a taser to subdue him before tying his hands and feet with rope. Authorities suspect the man was heavily intoxicated.

He now faces up to one year in prison for resisting arrest, according to the source.
