Cooking accident sparks house fire in Thalang

Firefighters in Sri Soonthorn, Thalang, quickly contained a house fire after a pot of corn left boiling unattended ignited and flames spread inside the property, according to the Phuket Express.
The resident alerted local fire crews, who arrived and brought the blaze under control before it spread further. Officials said the fire was confined to the kitchen area and that no injuries were reported.
