Emirates raises Dubai-Phuket service to three daily flights
Emirates has added a third daily Dubai-Phuket flight, lifting the route to 21 weekly services and deploying an Airbus A350-900 with Premium Economy.
Emirates has launched a third daily flight between Dubai and Phuket, increasing its service on the route to 21 flights a week.
The airline said the new daily service is operated with its latest Airbus A350-900 and expands the availability of its Premium Economy cabin in Thailand. The added Phuket flight is intended to increase passenger capacity in response to stronger summer travel demand from Europe, the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Under the new schedule, outbound flight EK390 departs Dubai at 10:40 p.m. and arrives in Phuket at 8:10 a.m. the following day. The return flight, EK391, leaves Phuket at 10 a.m. and arrives in Dubai at 1:05 p.m. All times are local.
Emirates said the third daily service gives travelers more flexible connections through Dubai, including onward links from European cities such as Manchester, Amsterdam, London, Paris and Frankfurt, as well as Kuwait and Bahrain. The airline also said the new flight improves connections from Phuket to destinations across Europe and the Middle East, including Madrid, Munich, Birmingham, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Edinburgh, Zurich and Amman.
The Airbus A350-900 used on the route has a three-class layout with 32 Business Class seats, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy Class seats. Emirates said Premium Economy passengers will receive a checked baggage allowance of up to 35 kilograms and 10 kilograms of carry-on baggage.
The airline added that the new EK391 service will also strengthen cargo links from Phuket by adding a daytime outbound option to Dubai, supporting shipments including perishables, electronic parts and general cargo.
Beyond Phuket, Emirates said it also offers Premium Economy on flight EK372/373 between Dubai and Bangkok, also operated by an A350.
