Fire breaks out at Vachira Hospital maintenance room in Phuket
A fire at a maintenance staff office at Vachira Hospital was brought under control before police arrived. No injuries were reported.
A fire broke out at a maintenance staff office at Vachira Hospital in Phuket City early on Thursday, 17 September 2026, Phuket City Police said.
Police received a report at about 4:45am. Firefighters had brought the blaze under control before officers arrived at the room behind the Luang Pho Chaem Building.
Maintenance tools and office equipment were affected. Police said the extent of the property damage had not yet been assessed.
No injuries were reported, and police have not identified any suspects. Officers photographed the scene and prepared a site map. Forensic officers are to carry out a joint inspection and investigate the cause of the fire, which has not yet been reported.
