Mai Khao SAO says pool villa permit documents are complete as signature check awaits
Phuket’s Mai Khao Subdistrict Administrative Organisation says the construction permit application was complete, but the signature’s authenticity remains under investigation.
The Mai Khao Subdistrict Administrative Organisation in Phuket says documents submitted for a pool villa construction permit were complete, while an investigation is still needed to determine whether the signature on them is genuine.
The application, for a property in Ban Dan Yid, Moo 3, Mai Khao, Thalang district, bears the name of Bum Panadda as the applicant. Questions have been raised publicly over the signature used in the application, Khaosod reported on 30 October 2026.
Acting Capt Surasak Duang Khae, a legal officer at the Mai Khao organisation, said the submitted paperwork met the legal requirements and procedures for applying for a construction permit. However, the organisation could not establish whether the signature was authentic or forged.
He said Panadda could file a complaint with investigators at Tha Chat Chai Police Station in Phuket if she maintained that her signature had been forged. Authorities could then examine the relevant documents and establish the facts.
If the signature is found to be forged, all construction would have to be suspended immediately, he said. The Mai Khao organisation would also file a complaint against those involved over the use of forged documents and making false statements to officials, based on the evidence uncovered.
