The 48-suite-and-villa Navera Phuket - MGallery Collection is planned to open near Surin Beach on Phuket’s west coast in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Navera Phuket - MGallery Collection is scheduled to open near Surin Beach on Phuket’s west coast in the fourth quarter of 2026, according to an announcement published on 15 September.
The boutique resort will comprise 48 luxury suites and villas, including one- and two-bedroom accommodation and suites with private pools. Its design is inspired by Phuket’s maritime history, from the island’s Sino-Portuguese seafaring heritage to the contemporary superyacht aesthetic.
The property is set on a hillside overlooking Surin Beach and the Andaman Sea. Its design incorporates curved forms, natural materials, gardens, lotus ponds and waterfalls, with the resort positioned close to the beach.
The main communal area, The Riviera House, is designed to evoke a yacht club. It will operate as a poolside space during the day before shifting towards cocktails, sunset views and evening dining.
Dining options will include Riviera Restaurant, serving breakfast and Mediterranean dishes throughout the day; Riviera Terrace & Bar; and Maison Juniper, which will offer a collection of more than 70 gins from around the world. Junsai Yakitori & Teppanyaki will serve charcoal-grilled yakitori, seafood and sake. Marcele Bar & Bistro, a two-storey venue near Surin Beach, will offer classic French dishes and drinks.
Wellness facilities will include The Spa by ELEMIS. The spa’s design draws on Phuket’s tin-mining history through the use of stone, wood and lighting intended to create an underground-mine atmosphere. Treatments will include heat and water therapies, in partnership with luxury skincare brand ELEMIS.
The resort also plans to offer personalised service, including butler assistance throughout guests’ stays. Under MGallery’s M Moments programme, guests will be able to take a traditional long-tail boat along Phuket’s west coast, with paddleboarding and snorkelling followed by a private beach dinner.
Navera Phuket - MGallery Collection will be the eighth MGallery Collection hotel in Thailand and the fourth in Phuket.
