Patong police arrest three foreign nationals over immigration overstays

Patong police arrested three foreign nationals on 4 August in an operation targeting suspected violations of Thailand’s immigration laws, according to The Phuket News.

Police identified the suspects as James Chinekwu Agbo, a Nigerian national; Essam Abdullah, a Kuwaiti national; and Ronelio Sollano, a Filipino national.

All three were taken to Patong Police Station, where legal proceedings were initiated before they were to be processed under Thailand’s immigration laws. The report said police did not indicate whether the three were suspected of involvement in any other crimes.
