Phuket officials inspected the Sod entertainment venue in Talad Nuea, Muang District, over the weekend after complaints about loud music and alleged drug use.
The operation began at 11.30pm and was led by Apichat Chantrawong, Security Division Chief of Muang District, according to the report. Officials conducted narcotics tests on employees and randomly selected patrons. All 54 people screened returned negative results.
The inspection team also checked for weapons and other illegal items but found none.
Officials documented the operation and instructed the venue’s management to comply strictly with regulations for entertainment establishments, including controls on noise, operating hours and lawful conduct.
