Phuket police arrested a 30-year-old man in Wichit on April 17 after discovering illegal drugs concealed in a wireless earphone case during a raid at his residence. Officers seized crystal methamphetamine and heroin, along with property valued at 180,000 baht, police said.
Drugs and Property Seized in Wichit Raid
Police identified the suspect as Mr. Athiphong. Authorities charged him with possession of Category 1 narcotics, including 0.34 grams of crystal methamphetamine found in a plastic bag inside a green earphone case with yellow trim.
Officers also found 0.11 grams of heroin in a small sealed tube hidden in the same case. Two motorcycles—a white Honda PCX and a black Honda Wave 125—were confiscated as evidence.
Police estimated the total value of seized assets at 180,000 baht. All evidence was taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation.
