A large sea turtle was found stranded and appearing exhausted on Phuket’s Patong Beach at about 6am on 3 September.

A sea turtle weighing more than 50 kilogrammes was found stranded and appearing exhausted on Patong Beach in Phuket at about 6am on Thursday, 3 September 2026.

Khaosod English reported that Jiraporn Wijit spotted the turtle lying on the shore while walking along the beach in Patong subdistrict, Kathu district. No further details were reported.
