Tourist allegedly flees Patong salon without paying B4,000 braiding bill
A stylist reportedly stopped a waiting van after a tourist allegedly tried to leave Patong without paying for a dreadlock-style hair-braiding service.
A tourist allegedly tried to leave a Patong salon without paying a B4,000 bill for a dreadlock-style hair-braiding service, according to a report relayed by The Thaiger from Phuket Times.
The report said the tourist ran towards a waiting van and told the driver to leave. As the van began to move, a Thai man stood in front of it and told the driver that the passenger had just had his hair done and had not paid.
The stylist said the tourist had received the service at a salon in Patong before running away. The hairdresser then chased after him to recover the payment.
The report did not state how the dispute was resolved.
