TransNusa to launch direct Bali-Phuket flights in September

TransNusa will launch direct flights between Denpasar, Bali, and Phuket on 9 September, with four weekly services before increasing the route to daily flights from October through the end of Phuket’s peak travel season in March 2027.

The airline will operate the service with an Airbus A320-200 aircraft configured with 174 seats. Flights will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with an approximate flight time of four hours.

Flight 8B541 is scheduled to depart Denpasar at 08:50 and arrive in Phuket at 11:50. Return flight 8B852 will leave Phuket at 13:50 and arrive in Denpasar at 18:50.

Ticket sales opened on TransNusa’s website on 3 July, with fares listed at US$167.60 (IDR2,799,000). TransNusa Group chief executive officer Datuk Bernard Francis said the route would be the airline’s fourth international service from Bali, alongside flights to Perth, Singapore and Guangzhou.
