Officers reviewed CCTV footage showing the suspect removing fuel from parked trucks over several nights. Police said the driver used a modified hose to siphon diesel directly from vehicle tanks.
During the search of the suspect’s home, authorities recovered several containers filled with diesel and equipment believed to be used in the thefts. Investigators stated that the total stolen fuel amounted to over 40,000 liters.
The driver faces charges related to property theft and remains in custody pending further investigation, police said.
