British tourist detained after alleged violent disturbance in Phuket

A British female tourist was detained in Phuket after an alleged violent disturbance at a salon and a neighbouring massage parlour.

According to the source, the incident began after the woman had her hair done and received an hour-long oil massage. She allegedly consumed cannabis before stripping off her clothes and shouting incoherently.

CCTV footage cited by the source reportedly showed the woman grabbing a 25-year-old salon stylist by the head and striking a glass door with a metal bar. The source said she then went into a nearby massage parlour and slapped employees before police arrived and restrained her.

The woman was taken into custody but was later released without charges, according to the source. Her sister reportedly came to the police station and reached a financial settlement with the victims.
